The protective glove are mainly used for the radiation operator to prevent the scattering of the X-rayduring the operation.

Before operation, the operator should check the surface of the protective gloves wheather it has been damaged or not. If not, put on them and operate.

The attenuation equivalent of the protective glove is: 0.25mmPb, 0.35mmPb, 0.5mmPb.

When washing and sterilizing the protective glove , should adopt the method of boiling them. Boil the protective glove in the boiling water for about half an hour. Then dry and put on the cover and lining to use.

According to the standard of GB16757-1997, the service life of the lead and rubber protective product is 4-5 years. The user should have a regular examination to the protective glove once a year. The examination method is to take apart the cover and check it by eyes. If the crackle of the product exceeds one third of it, the product can not bu used any more, must be discarded or renewed.

When storing the protective glove, lie them flat in the well airy room where untouched the sun shine and far away from the heat source. Mustn't touch with the acid or alkali chemical products to ensure the service life of the protective glove. It should be placed in a place of cool, well airy and without corrosive gas. The storage temperature is 5-40°c
